Dr. Judy Hinojosa, N.M.D.
Naturopathic Medical Doctor
Dr. Hinojosa is a licensed naturopathic doctor who received her degree from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, Arizona, graduating at the top of her class. Dr. Hinojosa works at the Center as a Primary Care Physician as well as Dr. Ramsey’s Medical Assistant. She completed her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and Women’s Studies at Arizona State University, and then spent the next 3 years using these degrees working with families of domestic violence before joining the medical program at SCNM.
As a licensed general family practitioner, Dr. Hinojosa works with people of all ages, and has focused her work and training in the areas of women’s health, chronic and acute illnesses, gastrointestinal and endocrine disorders, stress management, detoxification, weight loss, healthy aging, autoimmune conditions, anxiety, and depression.
Dr. Hinojosa uses a variety of therapies to bring each patient into balance and achieve optimum health. She utilizes her extensive training in Homeopathy, Acupuncture, Hydrotherapy, Gemstone Acupoint Therapy, Botanical Medicine, Functional Medicine, and Nutritional IV Therapy. When assessing the health of her patients she uses a wide array of laboratory testing techniques, including Food Allergy Panels, Body Composition Analysis, Hormone Testing, and Nutritional and Oxidative Profiles, allowing her to determine the underlying causes of imbalances in the body.
She approaches each patient individually by addressing all levels of health including mind, body, and spirit. Dr. Hinojosa understands the importance of compassionately guiding patients in their journey of achieving their own healing. She firmly believes that each person has the ability to heal. She focuses her assessment and therapies on finding and stimulating the body’s inherent power to heal, which is known as a person’s “vital force.”
Dr. Hinojosa is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP) and the Arizona Naturopathic Medical Association (AzNMA).
