Every woman and man in our country deserves the option of having access to cutting-edge, quality of life treatments.

Dr. Ramsey will be featured on Suzanne Somers’ new TV show, The Suzanne Show, November 21st on Lifetime Television where no topics are off limits. “It is safer to age while replacing our hormones than it is to age with degeneration. One reason BHRT is not First-Line-Medicine is that less pharmaceuticals, fewer surgeries and fewer assisted care facilities are necessary when people age vitally. Protect yourself. Don’t wait for your insurance company or government agencies to put you first, because their bottom line depends upon sales to sick people,” says Dr. Ramsey.

I pre ordered the book “I’m too young for this”, read it, was excited to know there was help out there. Unfortunately the cost of getting help is impossible! We’re not all rich celebrities who can afford to just bypass our health insurance, which by the way we’ve been paying a fortune into all this time, and pay another small fortune to someone in hopes of being helped! This is by far the most depressing time of my life!! What a roller coaster of ridiculous emotions! What’s the point

I’m so glad you brought this question forward. It is something I think about on a daily basis. Wellness providers do not get insurance reimbursement and I’ve been thinking of a way to create wellness insurance so everyone has access to the same medicine. Illness insurance is a different beast. I feel your frustration as well as your passion. Surprisingly my practice has a very wide socioeconomic range as we individualize care and something is better than nothing. The upfront costs are high and diminish with time – but it is a maintenance, that is for sure. I understand your frustration as much as I know you can make this happen for you. Think about an initial investment in yourself that will cost less later. We pay now for our health or we pay later for our illness. It’s a different mindset than insurance gives patients. Truthfully your question hit my heart because I know many people haven’t been exposed to the wellness dialogue and as a result there are many under served women. BHRT is a thriving industry because health care has become patient driven and people are sick and tired of being sick and tired. Pray or meditate about it as there is an answer for you.
